I had a date last night with the most beautiful and amazing girl on the planet. My excitement is through the roof. I wonder when I get to see her again?

Not so slow any more.
Long Time Coming
Looking back on my last entry, I am realizing that 1) I have no life and 2) What there is of my life moves really slowly. Not much has changed since my last post.
I am almost 2 weeks into the term now and for the past two weeks it seems like I have done nothing but that. It hasn’t been all bad though; I am getting back into the swing of school. I had forgotten how much I disliked research papers. Im really not feeling this post so…its over!
I have been back from Seattle since Sunday night. Saturday night I ate at The Cheesecake Factory and it was amazing. I ordered a burger called the ”Ranch House Burger”, which consisted of the “Classic” burger but was topped with steak, bacon, melted cheese, and sauteed onions and mushrooms. I was only able to eat about three quarters of it and I was done for the night when they came around with the cheesecake menu. Since I was at the Cheesecake factory so i felt obligated to have some cake. I got the white chocolate rasberry truffle cheesecake and it was fantastic. As we were leaving a bum asked me for my leftovers and I didn’t feel like carrying them so I happily gave them away.
Next up to do that night was a club called the One3One or something like that. When we walked in we were frisked and I knew right away this was somewhere I didn’t want to be. To make a long story short, I just sat in a corner all night waiting for my friends to do their thing. I am glad I have the experience though, so now I know what not to do in the future.
I am glad to be back in my home town. Last night was a bike race that got put together by some folks from one of the shops around here. I participateed and did very poorly but it was fun anyway. My quads are killing me.
I’m in Seattle!
All week I have been coordinating my work schedule so I don’t have to come in on Saturday, and it is finally paying off. Today I left my hometown in Oregon ,and went an hour north to visit a friend. The plan was to enjoy her company for an hour or so, and then to continue to Seattle with another friend who attends the same college.
My visit was cut short when I got a call from my second friend, saying that he was out of class early and that we should leave right away. Somehow I knew that would happen. So I had to say a quick goodbye, and I headed to the dorm where I would meet my other friend to go to Seattle. He was waiting in the car for me and I threw my luggage in the back and we left.
The drive was relatively uneventful. We got lost only once on the way to Seattle, but then once again once we were in Seattle. Apparently streets in campus areas aren’t on maps.
We eventually found parking near where we wanted to be, which was another dorm of a friend in Seattle. We met up with a long lost friend and I was stunned with how much she had changed. It became apparent that I would want to be staying with my sister and not have much to do with her.
I got dropped off at my sister’s house and my friends all headed towards the airport, where they still are now. I was relieved to have some time away from them. My sister and I went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant and then returned some movies and came back to her house. Her roommate was home so we all talked for a while and now I am waiting for the others to get back from the airport with one more teen girl than they left with.
